KURATABI

Today I'm off. I came to Atelier Morihico for breakfast. Every Morihico branch is beautiful inside, and personally, this is my favorite one.

I sit in the same seat at the bar that I did before. I can see staff members cooking grilled sandwiches that were ordered.

From breakfast menu, you can choose a grilled sandwich or a fruit sandwich. I chose a grilled sandwich with lotus roots and chickens in it. A new visitor sit on next to me. Time flowed gently on a weekday morning.

After leaving Morihico, I took a subway to Makomanai station. Then, taking a local bus from Makomanai, I arrived at Sapporo Art Forest.

Almost all the leaves had fallen, which told us the end of autumn. In winter, here will be covered with snow.

Since open-air museum was closed in winter recess, I couldn't walk around outside, but I found some sculpture works.

The atelier was opened. There were some sculptures and sketches by Sato Churyo, and also small rest area. It was cold outside, so I had a break for a while here.

I was back at the entrance of the open-air museum. I found specimens of local plants, and found my favorites.

I waited for the bus coming with hot chocolate. It was a little past two, and I was feeling hungry. I thought that after going back to Sapporo, I would have a soup curry for my late lunch.

I went to a movie theater that night after having lunch.

I was impressed by Kyrie's songs. I didn't know any information about the movie, and the story was set in Sapporo and Miyagi, which was where I came from. Perhaps I was fated to see this movie here.

It was sunny the next morning. While I was working in the hotel room, I saw Toyohira river and people jogging around.

Beside the river, there seemed to be a golf course. When I opened the lace curtains, I felt the cold air from the window.

I wanted to have something healthy, and had a Shabu-shabu (Japanese hot pot) for lunch.

I found a restaurant in Susukino, where you can enjoy a hot pot by yourself with a small pot. I wanted to eat lamb meat, but it was sold out, so I ordered pork instead. The hot pot ended with rice porridge, and I thoroughly enjoyed it all.

In the afternoon, I worked at the coworking space for a change of scenery. When I was working, I was thinking what I would be doing at night.

After work, I came to JR tower. I took an exclusive elevator, and as the number of floors increased, I felt excited.

As soon as I got to the 38th floor, I was overwhelmed by the picturesque night view that allowed me to see all of Sapporo. That day the air was clear, and I could see every single light.

I had a glass of wine at the cafe in the observation room. Such a luxurious time! Seeing the night view, I spent time thinking about my future.

I felt like walking, so decided to stroll the city on my way back to the hotel. Around Odori Park, it seems that they are preparing for white illumination events that will start next week.
