The three-day weekend starts from today. I had my hair cut and I like the new style. There weren't many people at the hair salon today.

I always ask the same hairdresser to do my hair, and even when my order is not clear, he knows what styles go with me. I always look forward to how my hair will change. When I saw him cutting my hair, I thought a hairdresser was a craftsman.

After leaving the hair salon, I took the subway to Dainohara station. Soon after I went aboveground, I found trees wearing new makeups too.

I'm going to Dainohara Forest Park today since it's the season of autumn foliage. Actually, it's my first time to visit. Before going to the park, I will stop by a bakery.

Passing through a residential area, I arrived at the bakery and got some breads. I also bought a coffee. It was a light roast that had fruit flavors and was enjoyable.

I arrived at the park. The leaves are turning. The birds chirping echoes in the quiet forest. The weather is suitable for walking.

I was looking for the place to eat and continued walking. Without realizing, I was following a walking course, and it was difficult to find a bench. My coffee is now lukewarm.

Finally, I found a nice bench. I have been walking for about 20 mins.

I will show you the breads. I bought three: a curry bread using original spices, a bread with dried grapes and figs, and a chestnut pie.

All the breads were good. Especially the fig one was my best, as a whole fig was inside.

After my late lunch, I moved to the square. I'm going to read the books that I bought this morning.

The Alchemist, which I happened to find, may give me something what I want. I've been thinking the questions that don't have answers these days, like why I was born here, the origin and destination of the universe, and so on.

What I saw in the train this morning, which was just a moment in ordinary days, remains my heart.

Building from the train window, leaves blowing in the wind, and several voices talking in the train. Every moment consisting of the present was perfection. Even though it seemed fragile, it stayed balanced, and I was a part of it.

I haven't written my journal for a long time, but I want to keep what I felt today, and I bought a new notebook. I like the color and typeface on its cover.

On the final day of the weekend, I prepared seasonal snacks and watched a movie at night.

Luckily kale was affordable at the farm stand I visited the day before. I made a salad with persimmons. And recently, I received big scallops as a gift from hometown tax, and I made a carpaccio. I run out of lemons, so used yuzu juice instead. The fresh scent of yuzu worked well.

It was the weekend that I soaked up the autumn.
