A while ago, I stopped by a craft shop and came across a sale on lovely fabric scraps. I ended up bringing some home and decided to make a handmade Advent calendar for Christmas this year.
Since my sewing machine is broken, I stitched everything by hand, one piece at a time. I thought I had started with plenty of time to spare, but by the time I finished, there was only about a month left until Christmas.
I filled the bags with a variety of candies and decorated them with the Christmas ornaments I made last year.
There’s only one month remaining in the year. I’m excited for Christmas, but at the same time, I’m not quite ready for the year to end.
